Sen. Clinton, You Want Who To Fix Our Economic Mess?

advertisement

Yesterday Sen Hillary Clinton released a plan, which, in my humble opinion, underscores why another Clinton administration would do very little... because she proposes putting people in charge of the reform who caused the very crisis we are in.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

The group could be headed by eminent leaders like Alan Greenspan, Paul Volcker, and Bob Rubin

Unfortunately this is one of those "opinions are like a**holes, everybody has one" articles. While I myself might not care for these individuals; any effort would need big names to be credible. Note the use of the conditional words "could" and "like".

Remember the Bill Clinton administration got us to our first budget surpluses in very many years.I think that just as FDR was not an ideologue but a very practical person; that Hillary is showing the same practicality.
